Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 04:43PM May, what a crazy, busy month. Not only did I photograph 5 weddings and a few portrait sessions but also attended a photography seminar, participated in our neighborhood home tour, had to say goodbye to one of my sweet kitties, John and had to deal with having my purse stolen while I was at my gym....so I am not where I want to be with editing and am slowly catching up!!
On May 17th Ashley and Scott were married at the Schermerhorm here in Nashville. When I arrived the plaza was filled with glass top tables, green pillows on the stone benches and beautiful flowers. The couple was married in the courtyard. The iron gates were draped with white fabric which created some beautiful shadows and patterns. The event was put together by Ashley's sister, Jenny, of Jenny Richter Events. Thank you Jenny for contacting me and landing me this fabulous job!!
This is one of my favorite images of this fantasic, fun and passionate couple!!

Ashley getting her makeup done by the fabulous Victoria from Private Edition.

Ashley with her two sisters and Scott with his two brothers.

The fountain in the middle of the courtyard was filled with white peonies.

The mastermind behind the floral design was the one and only Joe Smith from Ilex...for flowers.
A detail of the bride's dress and her white peony bouquet and the ladies with their bouquets.

The ring bearer and flower girl were so funny!! And the bride looked like an angel in front of the draped iron gates.

Detail of the musicians.

The first kiss...very passionate!
Mr and Mrs!!

The escort table. These beautiful escort cards were created by Val Cole. I think they are just amazing!!

The yummy cakes by Dessert Designs.

The table setting.

The first dance and father dance.

Joe Smith and his daughter, Frances. Frances is a former bride of mine. She was married four years ago!!
I just loved working with Ashley and Scott and their families. Such wonderful warm and caring people!!!
